I’ve lived in three different countries for the past 21 years, and Singapore was the one place i cannot forget. The country is represented by a small red dot on the world map right at the tip the peninsula above Sumatra island, holding only 4.48 million multi-raced population , however Singapore has always been bigger than just a red dot in my heart. The hawker centers, food courts, pasar malam (night market), the kopitiams, the Chingay parade, Esplanade, Marina bay, Sentosa Island, Universal studio, Singapore Flyer, Orchard road, and many more interesting spots mark what is truly Singapore. And, once you get there, there is no way to disregard their infamous singlish (singapore english)!

I have lived in Brisbane all my life. I’ve visited many other places, but this will always be my home. I love the river, and the park lands. So beautiful.

From Brisbane, Australia.

Every second I create my own hometown, I guess. In which one do you want to visit me? Best regards, Alena from Göttingen (Germany)

I’ve lived in an eerie + sleepy rural town in West Cork, Ireland similar to that of the film ”Silent Hill”, and have done since I was thirteen, I was originally from London,England. I miss it.
We get the best views and sunsets from our garden because we live in Gougane Barra Valley. Google it. It’s beautiful.

I was born and living in Jakarta, a capital city of Indonesia. This night view shows a statue called “Bundaran HI”, a roundabout which is seen as the centre of Jakarta. Besides as a business district, there are lot of fun place to go, such as museums, shopping malls, or restaurants; we can find many delicious traditional dishes here :)

Dear Reader,
From where I live I can see the Empire State Building.Everytime I look at it I am wondering where the big monkeyis gone. In my mind there is no Empire State Building without King Kong.
