I’ve lived in three different countries for the past 21 years, and Singapore was the one place i cannot forget. The country is represented by a small red dot on the world map right at the tip the peninsula above Sumatra island, holding only 4.48 million multi-raced population , however Singapore has always been bigger than just a red dot in my heart. The hawker centers, food courts, pasar malam (night market), the kopitiams, the Chingay parade, Esplanade, Marina bay, Sentosa Island, Universal studio, Singapore Flyer, Orchard road, and many more interesting spots mark what is truly Singapore. And, once you get there, there is no way to disregard their infamous singlish (singapore english)!
